Hello! Today I have the super popular Shoot for the Stars bath bomb from Lush! This is a re-release holiday item, but it got a makeover this year. To me it's brand new!
Shoot for the Stars shares it's scent with Honey I Washed the Kids soap, which if you've never smelled its like honey/caramel/creme brulee/vanilla all wrapped in one. My kids and my husband swooned over the smell as soon as they came near it! Lots of sweet teeth in my family :)
I don't normally combine bubbles when I'm using a bath bomb for the first time, but I did this time. They are from the little Penguin bubble bar, review on him coming later this week. LOOK at the awesome royal blue swirls in the water! Heart eyes!
Once the bath bomb dissolves, which it does fairly quickly, it pops out several little gold lustre filled bath melts which take their time melting into the water and BOY do they make your skin soft!
LOOK at this amazing blue color! I. AM. IN. LOVE.
You can see more of the awesomeness in the video..... and please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Guys.......... I'm so torn on this bath bomb. On the one hand, the whole time I was in the tub I just could not get over how good it smelled. Surprising especially since I'm not into the sweet smells lately. And my skin was amazingly soft from the star melts. BUT when I got out I and my tub was covered in gold lustre. Y'all know I'm not a huge fan of that......but is it worth it? I think it might be! The smell is amazing, the water color is amazing (and didn't stain the tub), and my skin felt amazing. Is that worth dealing with looking like the glittery troll from the Trolls movie? Yup, I'm thinking so. Shoot for the Stars has made it onto my Boxing Day shopping list!
Here's a better look a the inspired mani, which will have its own post coming up tomorrow!
Hey Yall! Blogger is finally up and I finally have a few minutes, albeit while the boys are recreating the Indy 500 with their fire trucks in the playroom while I'm on my new mini-laptop (yay)....I'm gonna try to get some of the cakes I've made in the past month up! First up is the baby shower cake. It is half vanilla with vanilla buttercream and half chocolate with chocolate buttercream. I wonder how many pieces they had to cut to find some on both halves, because after I got the fondant on I had no idea where the division was! I asked for a picture of the bedding so I could have something to coordinate with. The only request was the cake flavors, so I could come up with anything! Here's the result.... I modeled the top like the bass drum and made panels around the sides to depict other scenes in the bedding. I'm pretty happy with my guitar...I totally free-handed cut that out. I've stated several times before...I'm not an artist, so that was a pretty big d...
Hello! Long time no see! I have had a lot going on since my last blog. My sincere apologies to Zoya for taking longer than usual to get this blog published. I was going to do a little life update but y'all don't care about that, that's what Snapchat/Instagram/Twitter is for ;) let's get to these polishes! Which one do you think I chose to swatch last and wear for the weekend??
Hello fellow land dwelling friends! We are back from our vacation where we went on another Disney Cruise! We have done a few now and they have been the best trips our family has ever been on. This was our first voyage on one of the classic ships. Can not recommend enough! This was the longest cruise we have done, and I took the most footage ever. It will take me a little bit to sort through it all! I plan on several blog posts and a video. I can't decide whether to divide it up by day or category (food, entertainment, ports, etc) so I'm open to any and all suggestions! I'm starting today with the mani I created and wore the whole time! I was really indecisive about what to do, and therefore waited until the last minute to do these nails and was up entirely too late the night before we left! Once I finally decided on a color palette this is what followed, 2 hours later!
