Aggies Do It Better

Hey guys! This is just a little roundup of my trip to Vegas! Most of these I posted on Instagram so if you follow me there you probably already saw them ;) I started out with Zoya Aurora. There are no words to describe her sparkle! I had some free time when my husband was working (this was a work trip for him and I just tagged along) so I decided to go exploring along the strip! First up I made the trek to the Bellagio from the MGM Grand to see the fountains, my favorite thing in Vegas. A quick google helped me find out the times they went off, since there are no signs! You have to go in a door to the Bellagio to get to the above-road walkway to cross the street. There are so many of these now, even more than when I was last there 3 years ago. Hey Guys! I have something really fun for you today! The ACM's (Academy of Country Music) are next weekend and I thought I'd do some more award-show themed nails to go along with it!  They are held in Las Vegas every year! I just so happen to have access to an ACTUAL ACM award....awesome right! It's totally real and won fair and square.  No, I'm not saying exactly how, but the few of you that read this that know me in real life know how. This thing was heavy!! Hey guys! Here's another award show mani for you! I do love themes! I love award shows more for the red carpet special than the show itself! Here's what I went with. The Grammys are much more edgy, with rock stars abound. I love how these came out!  shade   Here's what I started with. I actually used these as my "studs" nails for the #nailartjan Instagram challenge. Little double dipping never hurt anyone, right? ;) Start with 3 white nails and one black. I used my beloved OPI I Snow You Love Me glitter and placed them with a small dotting tool. OPI I Snow You Love Me After they are reeeeeaaaallllyyyy dry, tape off for your gold. I taped at a diagonal, one at a time. Tape, paint, peel, repeat. Can I just say, it's so weird to type 2014! Here are some quick nails I did for this weekend's award show the Golden Globes. I love award shows, but more I love the red carpet specials to see what everyone's wearing! yay. I've had these Picure Polishes for weeks and only now had time to use them! How gorgeous is Monroe?? I experimented a little with glitter placement with this crazy awesome holographic NOPI I grabbed as soon as I knew it existed!  It's one of the few polishes I have that I paid full price for.
