China Glaze Seas and Greetings collection for Holiday 2016

Hello! Today I have the holiday collection from China Glaze. I have to say, if there was a collection more suited to me for the holidays I can't imagine what it would be! The title is "Seas and Greetings"....get it? Get it? Haha! It's all about celebrating the winter holiday somewhere warm and tropical. Um, hello!  I'm SO over winter in general. And it hasn't even gotten that cold here yet! I'm not a person who needs to experience "seasons" (put finger quotes around that) and if I never saw or wore a jacket again that'd be a-ok with me! I feel like I've been gushing over China Glaze a lot lately so my expectations  are really high for this collection!

All swatches are topcoated unless noted!

Eat, Pink, Be Merry is a typical bubble gum pink creme. There's a strong shimmer in here that didn't pick up under my lights. This is 2 coats.

Warm Wishes is a coral creme. It was fairly streaky still after 2 coats so I added a third. If you have a light hand you could probably get away with 2 but I don't!

Tis the Sea-Sun is a bright orangy red that almost leans neon. This is 2 coats. Would be a great pedi color!

Good Tide-ings is a periwinkle creme. It reminds me a lot of Secret Periwinkle, which I'm pretty sure I have but I can't find! And....this is ONE coat! I made immediate note to try it stamping!

Sand in My Mistletoes is a peachy nude, alllllmost was a one coater but I went ahead with 2. Gorgeous!

The More the Berrier is a shimmery raspberry creme. The most traditional of the bunch, maybe this was put in the collection for the holiday polish purests haha. ONE coat, props!

Lets Shell-ebrate is a glitter topper multicolored micro glitters and shimmer. This is one coat brushed over The More the Berrier.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Starfish is a really cool mermaidy polish! I think this could be used as a topcoat or on its own. This is 3 coats, which is pretty good for how sheer it is.

Seas and Greetings is a purple shimmer. The formula here was FANTASTIC. 2 perfect, not too thick, not too thin coats. I'm not a purple fanatic but this is gorgeous and would be great on toes!

Snow Way! is a bone-white shimmer. Could be very bridal, or wintery!. I think also here you could get away with 2 coats but I went with 3.

Joy to the Waves is another mermaidy shimmery polish. This is 2 coats.

Bonus sunlight shot!

Partridge in a Palm Tree is a sea green matte polish. I knew going into swatching this that a lot of other bloggers had some issues with it. I have a lot of experience with matte polishes so maybe that helped me? It dries fast, and I mean FAST, faster than any other matte polish I have. So you have to work quick. But if you're willing to give it a chance,  this polish is GORGEOUS! This is 3 coats, the last with a super light hand to even it out.

Sunlight shot...

And with topcoat in the sun....I'm sorry but DAMN.

Sally beauty is carrying only half the collection in stores and the whole thing online. I've seen other online retailers carrying it also-it's worth it! My picks are ALL OF THEM! No really, but don't pass on Good Tide-ings, Partridge in a Pear Tree, and Joy to the Waves!
