Black and red "Anti-Valentine's Day" nails

Hey guys! I have something a little different today, for me any way! Last week I had an idea for "anti" Valentines day nails using a mixture of reds and blacks. This is one of the few times something came out exactly as I planned! Between the time I did these and now I've seen several other similar idea'd manis around so I guess I'm not the only one with this idea, haha!

I used 4 OPI polishes for this, 3 of which were untried! What!!! This post marks 13 untried polishes I've used this week. I'm super proud of that!

black: Black Onyx. The most perfect black in the history of the world. Used many times and will continue to. The end.

red shimmery crème: Innie Minnie Mighty Bow. This one is really pretty, I'm not really a red girl but this one is really pretty! I think I have most of both years of Minnie Mouse polishes, maybe I should do a swatch post on them? I've used most of them lots. Except this one, haha. But it's gorgeous!

red glitter: Gettin' Miss Piggy With It from the first Muppets line. Hilarious name! I have most of those glitters as well and I'm trying to think of good ways to use them! This one is red and silver glitter in a clear base. It's definitely a topper...I don't think you could get it opaque unless you used a sponge mannnnnnny times.

texture: Stay The Night. This was one of the first liquid sands OPI put out! its mostly black with a red sparkle running through out. I've had it forever but this is the first time I've worn it! I was kind of scared because its black, but its  more like a dark charcoal color. I definitely like it way more than I thought I would!

topcoat: I honestly can't remember. Bad blogger! It was only a few days ago but I didn't write it down. It was either Seche Vite or HK Girl. No topcoat on the textures.

vinyls: lightning bolt nail vinyls from Nailvinyls.com

Here's the tutorial video! It might seem kind of slow but I don't speed up my You Tube videos anymore. What you see is really how slow I go, I've always been a slow polisher, it really helps with not getting any on the skin!

I thought this would look really cool matte....and it did! I wore it for a whole day like this! I felt like such a badass, giggles!
