Hey guys! Today I have the Zoya "Transitional" Naturel Satin collection review! Finally! :) These were provided by Zoya for my review and my opinion is definitely my own-yall know that ;) These are meant to be a transition from the dark colors from fall/winter to the pastels of spring. These were highly anticipated by all of us! For one, I was (and am) a HUGEEEE fan of the Matte Velvets Zoya put out last year. You can read my review of them here!  I figured if these were half as good as those then I would be a happy camper. And look, more frosty bottles! GAH they are just so pretty! Hey guys! It's good to be back! If you follow me on Instagram you know about my drama this weekend. I won't go into it here but I might blog about it this week! (Phone drama, yall know.) Anyway, this is a look I came up with last week! It's hard to come up with new looks for Valentine's Day, even I just want to stick with hearts ;) And, I have lots of vinyls but the ones I have trouble using the most are the lightning bolt ones, because I feel like they can only really be used one way. So I forced myself to try to think out side of the box! I don't know, what do yall think?  I started with a nude base (this polish may or may not be blogged, that's all I'll say about that, wink face) and used Lightning bolt vinyls from Glam my Mani (sent to me, I've used them many times before!) and my fine red Zoya PixieDust in Chyna. Hey guys! Busy blogging week continues! Today I have the new, well, re-released, Zoya Matte Velvets!!!! These came out several years ago and were limited edition, and people have been pining for them ever since! Actually, I was literally looking online at Amazon and Ebay like 2 days before I got the press release for these! My jaw hit the ground! And let me tell you ..... They are as awesome as you've heard. The bottles are also different...they have the same matte rubber caps as the Pixiedusts but the bottles are frosty glass instead of regular glass! They just look fancy. Hey guys! I'm not wanting the fun of Picture Polish Blog/Insta Fest to be over!  So here are some simple swatches of the 2 shades I was given to create art with! I'm keeping this short and sweet with lots of pretty pics ;) First up is Malt Teaster, a gorgeous milk chocolately brown. The formula is amazing, smooth like buttah, almost a one coater but I used 2.  sun  shade  sun  shade Next is Fairy Floss, a blue toned cotton candy pink. (Fairy Floss is what they call cotton candy in Australia!) Again, 2 coats, super smooth formula! Love! This one is quite the chameleon, it looks so different in different lighting! All these pics were taken outside, and I feel like the first one is the most true to life color. I don't color correct my photos, so yall can really see the difference! Hey guys! Today I have my official review of the Winstonia nail art brushes  I was sent (although there's another one coming up!) My fine detailing skills are severely lacking and boy was I excited to get these! This mani is part of a Mani Swap I did with my friend Judy over at @Judyrox . She is all the way over in Spain! One of my favorite things about this crazy world of doing nails is getting to know  people all over the world, on line and in person! I just would have never of guessed  I would be in such a scenario! Anyhoo-as soon as I received these brushes I went straight to Judy's page for inspiration...because she is the Queen of these kind of tribal nails in my book! I figured, why not just go for it and try something super hard, right? She graciously agreed to let me copy one of her designs :)  sun

Hey guys! Today I have probably one of the most fun nails I've ever done! I was loving my splatter mani so much I posted yesterday, and I needed a "Star" themed mani for an upcoming Nail It (magazine) issue, I thought I'd do something similar to the butterflies I did here  .  I really loved how they came out, and boy did these get a lot of attention every where I went! That's a good sign, right?  sun All I did was use my star paper punch to cut out a star from painters tape. Then I placed them over my nail a little off center so that there was a little hanging off so I could have something to grab when I pulled it off. I used Zoya Raven (the same I used for the base) to paint over the free space and then removed the star with tweezers!  Add topcoat then done!  shade This is what they looked like before I added topcoat.
