What I wore March 2016

Image
Hey guys! Here's a round up of the manis I wore in March! I'm a day late posting these :/ I have been setting blogging goals for myself and I'm doing  a really good job at meeting them until now! I can only manage 2 blogs a week so  I put them on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and I was doing great until now! My neck has been bothering me this week and I've been super busy with life stuff so this last post took a backseat. But the weeks not over yet so I'm just going to pretend like it's still Thursday. ;) My computer keyboard is being really slow (anyone else ever have that issue) and my neck is bothering me so this won't be as wordy as usual! My changes didn't save either so I'm feeling particularly postal! grr! I had to redo this post like 3 times! This is I Scream Nails Liquorice Twist (black) with dry brush of Grasshopper Pie  (green) and Soft Serve (white). I loved this mani! I blogged all my I Scream Nails polishes HERE. This is s...

Loaded Lacquer Swatches and Review (recent haul)

Image
Hey guys! Today I have a little mini-haul from one of my fav indie brands, Loaded Lacquer. One was a gift I haven't posted about here yet and the other 2 were recent purchases! Toasted Marshmallow is a gray jelly polish. I apply jelly polishes with one thin coat and one thicker coat, that usually works for more opaque jellies like Heather's! Thinner jellies require way more coats. They also dry down a little dull so you definitely need topcoat! This is 2 coats plus HK girl topcoat. Toasted Marshmallow Achieve-mint is a mint green jelly I've been wanting for a while, I finally had good enough reason to order it! After 2 coats it was still a little streaky so I added a partial 3rd coat in some places, if that makes sense! Topcoat also helps to smooth everything out. I think there's a trick to applying this type of polish, I haven't quite mastered it yet but I'm getting there! Achieve-mint Lastly is the "January Jelly ...

What I wore January & February 2016 (swatches and nail art spam!)

Hey guys! Here's the latest installment of my mani-round up blogs. I started this at the end of the year last year as a way to move away from blogging every.single.mani I wear ( who has time for that?) especially when for the time being I am focusing on swatching and cataloging my collection. Sometimes I will be combing months like this one if I don't get around to wearing a lot of manicures for myself! This is mostly just for my own records, haha. I'm also trying to keep them concise because a) I can get wordy and b) these aren't really review posts! For past posts click the "what I wore" tag at the end of this post! Only mani I wore in January! Thanks pneumonia! OPI Taupeless Beach. Perfection as always. Taupe-less Beach Zoya Lake with OPI 50 years of Style (gold), Honey Rider (gold texture) and matte topcoat. Watermarble  with Pipe Dream Polish Clearwater. Loaded Lacquer Clark, Glitter's Full! (and un...

What I wore November/December 2015 (nail art and swatch spam!)

Image
Hey guys! This is a long over due post since I stopped posting a blog for every mani, only swatches for the most part. I keep procrastinating this one for some reason! I will be posting these every few months to document my real-life manis and continue marking my untried polishes as "blogged"! It helps me when I want to thin the herd, haha. So these are the polishes I wore in November and December of 2015.     Loaded Lacquer Tiki Torched (untried). I can't remember if this was 2 or 3 coats, but I loved it! Add caption Tiki Torched with Love Angeline A Twinkle in my Eye (untried)- after a day or so I broke out my vinyls and added a little accent of this rose gold glitter. I loved it! In November my town got our very own Ulta! Yippee! Before I was having to drive 25 whole minutes, and before those opened (all in the same year!) I had to go 45 min. I never wear orange but I had to to celebrate! I wore OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-go? and All ...

What I wore: August, September, October 2015 (Spam!)

Hey guys! I have another WAY over due post! I haven't been blogging as much over the past couple months (aside from swatching) because I've been busy with stuff around the house. And we recently joined our YMCA (finally!) so I've been taking some yoga classes trying everything possible to get my issues with my neck and shoulders worked out. I think....I know it will help me in the long run but I'm still in the beginning stages of everything hurting all the time always. ugh! So its another thing pulling me away from the computer. I have a new planner and I'm trying to work out a schedule of fitting in all the thing I want to be doing! First world problems, I know. Back in August I was planning on doing a little end of the month summary of the polishes I've been wearing when I'm not swatching (still trying to use so many untrieds!) so I could document them here. Fast forward to December and I still haven't posted them here! Sooooo I just decided to combi...
